The TCHVA was founded and organized by Garry Collins (LT 86-89). Beginning as early as 2003, Garry began searching for his shipmates and other TCH vets. Organizing formally at our first reunion in Norfolk, Virginia in July of 2005, the Association adopted by-laws and elected/appointed Association Officers. The TCHVA has received IRS tax exemption under IRS Code 501 (C) 19. The Association is not required to pay taxes. Dues or contributions made to the TCHVA do not qualify for an income tax deduction as a charitable contribution.
OUR CHARTER:
The Association is a fraternal organization for Navy members who served aboard the TCH. The primary purpose of the Association is for former shipmates who share a common background of service aboard TCH to enjoy the camaraderie and to provide the opportunity for members to actively participate in reunions and other activities of the Association.
