SeaLeopard.com is operated by the USS Sea Leopard Veterans Association, a non-profit organization to establish community and camaraderie among the many former US Navy sailors who served on the USS Sea Leopard (SS483) between 1945 and 1973, and to give others a glimpse into life on a World-War-II-era submarine.
The organization was officially established at the 2003 Ship's Reunion in Virginia Beach, VA. At the 2007 Reunion, Phil Somerset was elected Commander, Dan Burke was elected Vice-Commander and John Stanford was re-elected as Secretary/Treasurer.
