ANTHONY ROESSLER (pronounced Ressler), new Balboa Port Captain, started the orientation tour of his new domain in the Marine Traffic Comptroller's Office at Balboa where a magnetic map board shows the location of all transiting ships, Capt. Horatio Lincoln, outgoing Port Captain, is explaining that the numbered, white tag shows that the ship which was No. 4 on the day's northbound schedule was then in Miraflores Lake.
Captain Roessler arrived July 13 from command of the fleet oil tanker Ashtabula. In addition to his duties at Captain of the Port of Balboa he is a member of the Board of Local Inspectors and a member of the Board of Admeasurement.
