New York (BB-34) after her 1926-1927 rebuild. She received new fire controls similar to the California/Colorado classes (BB-44-48), new boilers, masts, secondary weapons, and light weight machine guns. Her hull was rebuilt with bulges/blisters for torpedo and gun protection.
