The Henney's lived across the street from us. They owned Henney's Shoe Store. When I was a kid, in the 1950's, they had one of these in the front of the store. I remember standing on the platform with my shoes stuck through the hole at the bottom and looking at my toes inside of my shoes.
What kick. What a different time.
