Reflections on PO1 Peart's
US Navy Service
IF HE/SHE PARTICIPATED IN ANY MILITARY OPERATIONS, INCLUDING COMBAT, HUMANITARIAN AND PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS, TO THE BEST OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE, PLEASE DESCRIBE THOSE YOU FEEL WERE THE MOST SIGNIFICANT TO HIM/HER AND, IF LIFE-CHANGING, IN WHAT WAY.
The USS Bullhead was on it's 3rd war patrol when it was sank by enemy aircraft. It left Fremantal, Australia on July 31,1945 and was never heard from again.Bill was stationed aboard the submarine USS Skipjack out of Manila when WWII started.
