My father serviced and I wanted to do the same.
WHETHER YOU WERE IN THE SERVICE FOR SEVERAL YEARS OR AS A CAREER, PLEASE DESCRIBE THE DIRECTION OR PATH YOU TOOK. WHAT WAS YOUR REASON FOR LEAVING?
I served almost 5 years and decided to get married and try to make more money, so I got out. I regretted it for a while but 31 years with my current employer, Railroad. I'm satisfied.
IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN ANY MILITARY OPERATIONS, INCLUDING COMBAT, HUMANITARIAN AND PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS, PLEASE DESCRIBE THOSE WHICH WERE THE MOST SIGNIFICANT TO YOU AND, IF LIFE-CHANGING, IN WHAT WAY.
The 2 different meditarrian cruises between 1985 and 1987 were the most impacting in my life.

LT Bernie Buckley was my LT on my ship and he helped me and my wife during the hard times. He was a great Officer in my eyes
