PLEASE DESCRIBE WHO OR WHAT INFLUENCED YOUR DECISION TO JOIN THE NAVY.
Having been born into a large family of military veterans, it only seemed logical that I would serve as those before me did. Early in my life I learned about the importance of duty to God, country, and family tradition. This was largely due to the influence of my grandfather who served during World War II.

IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN ANY MILITARY OPERATIONS, INCLUDING COMBAT, HUMANITARIAN AND PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS, PLEASE DESCRIBE THOSE WHICH MADE A LASTING IMPACT ON YOU AND, IF LIFE-CHANGING, IN WHAT WAY?
Operation Earnest Will - While in the Persian Gulf Enterprise and Battle Group Foxtrot escorted reflaged oil tankers through the Straights of Hormuz.

Operation Praying Mantis - In retaliation to the USS Samuel B. Roberts (FFG-58) striking of an Irainian mine, Enterprise, Carrier Air Wing 11, and ships of Battle Group Foxtrot ingaged Iranian sea and air forces.

Operation Classic Resolve - The Enterprise with assistance of the USS Midway (CV-41) and the 8th Air Force helped the Philippeno government to maintain and control the air during a 10 day attempt to overthrow President Corizon Aquino.

WHAT PROFESSION DID YOU FOLLOW AFTER YOUR MILITARY SERVICE AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW? IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY SERVING, WHAT IS YOUR PRESENT OCCUPATIONAL SPECIALTY?
I now serve as a Deputy Sheriff with the Camden County Sheriff's Office in Camden County, Missouri. I am currently assigned to the patrol division and work the night shift. I am also the breacher for the departments SWAT team and a firearms instructor.
