Reflections on SCPO Croix's
US Navy Service
PLEASE DESCRIBE WHO OR WHAT INFLUENCED YOUR DECISION TO JOIN THE NAVY.
I was ready to join the military. I was working in a service station when a Navy recruiter came in to have a flat fixed. I asked him why no military recruiters had ever contacted me. He had no answer, but invited me to go to the recruiting station in Houston the next morning for testing. By the time the day was over, I had enlisted.
