 Additional Information
What are you doing now:

After I left the Navy back in '86, I took a crack at court reporting, which didn't work out. I eventually rotated into a grant management job at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California, where I worked for ten years as a vocational education specialist and adjunct business instructor.

We moved to Colorado in 2003 to be with the grandkids, after which I retired permanently.  Now I am enjoying the good life in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountain front range. Living quietly with my wife and best friend (same person since 1965) in our nice home surrounded by a quiet neighborhood.

I do quite a bit of freelance writng -- blogging, article authoring, special assignments, etc. -- mostly on line. I work for serveral content writing services, and the modest income helps satisfy my addiction to new software, nifty devices and occasional foolish expenditures.

Other Comments:

I shall always cherish my time in the United States Navy. It allowed this skinny kid from a poor St. Louis family to start a life's adventure, see the world and meet the love of my life. If I had it to do over again, I'd do it over again.
