Navy Master Chief Starr retired in 2007 and returned to Dam Neck as a civilian employee.
He was a native of Hillsdale, Hillsdale H.S. Class of '79 and began his Navy career in 1981.
He was survived by his Wife, Mother and Step Parents along with all the normal range of people from extended families.
A celebration of life service with full military honors was conducted August 26th at the Chapel by the Sea - NAS, Virginia Beach and one near the water at Owens Memorial Park at Baw Beese Lake on Sept 6th.
Ashes to be scatter from the Pensacola, Fl bridge.
