PNC(Ret.) Darla Afable passed away 14 Sep 10, she suffered from Ovarian Cancer.
Worst Moment as division yeoman I was required to take shipmates to IT/MOTOUR. One night one of the people had to be taken to the emergency room and I had to accompany her. Didn't make it back to the company until 4 am and revele went off at 5!
Instructors CC (RM2) was from Modesto, CA (where I was from) but wouldn't tell me until graduation no matter how much I bugged her. Turned out her mother lived right down the street and I had visited her.
