Personal Memories

Best Friends
Charles L. Galle, Keith D. Darden, Odell V. Loy, Worth D. Lancaster and SO Many, many others!!!!

Best Moment
SMC C. E. Geiger was assigned CC of Company 538! For some reason the PO1 that was the CC was relieved of duties (rumor was alcohol abuse). Chief Geiger turned the company around and was NOT the ogre we expected him to be. We had a friend in this CPO and he was a role model for all other chiefs that I encountered during my time in. None matched! He was the best!

Worst Moment
SMC C. E. Geiger gave the company our FIRST inspection and it was terrifying! So very, very nitpicking and we FAILED miserably! And something happened to the PO1 that was our CC and Chief Geiger was assigned as our CC! HORRORS!

Other Memories
Odell Loy, Worth Lancaster, Keith Darden, Hugh Sumpter, and I were from N. Car. and flew across country together from Raleigh, NC. Last leg was aboard a SuperG Constellation! Marvelous flight! The ONLY way to fly!
