Personal Memories

Best Moment
Passing the 2 week mark. Designing the Co flag and being able to carry it when we were marching from place to place.

Worst Moment
Service week, I had KP duty.
I had to do 299 jumping jacks with an M1903 inert rifle, very tiring. After 100 count, the whole Co started doing them too. The C.O. asked why everyone was doing them when only I was told to do them? The RCPO replied that we all failed as a unit, even if only one person was taking the blame as squad leader.

The Dental Dr. decided that I need to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at once! I was in the chair for 3 hours and spent the next 3 days in the infirmary waiting for my jaw to reduce swelling enough that I could eat solid food again. The pain drugs made it all bearable.

Other Memories
Getting our first haircuts and all of our shots.

Getting blisters on my feet and the possibility of being dropped out for flat feet. The Dr. gave me some steel arch supports and a chit to allow me to where white sweat sock under my dress black socks. My feet got better and I was able to complete Boot camp with my Co.
