Other Memories Best life lession learned when the CC dropped one of my shipmates for not shining his shoes. When asked why he did no shine his shoes, my shipmate responed that he did not have the time. Our CC asked if he had slept the night before with the response was yes. Our CC simply stated "if you had time to sleep, then you had time to shine your shoes' and then he moved on! Life lesson, you choose what you wish to do and not to do.
