It was an honor and a privilege to serve for 21 years as the son of a son of a sailor. Grandad was a Rear Admiral, and Dad was a Captain, USN. Now I live in Norfolk VA and windsurf like crazy in VA and NC !

Best Moment "Class 08-87 prepare to eat, reeeaddy.....eat" "Snap !"
Graduation ! Being commissioned by my Dad, first salute from SSGT Sosa.
Worst Moment 5 AM runs to the lighthouse and back, ugh.
Instructors SSGT Sosa USMC. Met years later in Utaphao, Thailand, amazing. MGST Bearup USMC, his full name. "There are two types of Naval Officers, pretenders and contenders. Which will you be ?"
Other Memories I consider graduating from AOCS, as it was structured in 1986-1988, as one of my primary accomplishments in life, right up there with getting my wings and graduate school. It tested me to my limits.
