During WW II, Mr. Seaborne served two years in The Pacific on The
Aircraft Carrier, USS Langley CVL 27 where he was wounded in combat.
Among the many decorations awarded to Mr. Seaborne were The Purple
Heart, Navy Commendation Medal with Combat V, Navy Unit
Commendation, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign
Medal with nine battle stars, Victory Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal
with two Battle Stars, Philippine Presidential Unit Citation and The Combat
Action Ribbon. He was a member of The USS Langley Association, The
Veterans of Foreign Wars and a life member of The Disabled American
Veterans.
