What are you doing now:
Now retired I enjoy volunteering as a tour guide at The Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa, Idaho. This museum is unique because apart from the airplanes and other weapons of war, the primary focus is on the personal stories of sacrifice/survival in service to our nation. These stories easily exceed 2,000 individuals represented within notebooks, cabinets or videos. www.warhawkairmuseum.org
In addition to our volunteer work, we enjoy traveling this great nation in our motorhome. How blessed we are to live on planet earth at this unique point in time of earths history.
Other Comments:
For a while I was a member of a Vietnam Veterans of America chapter in Idaho. During that time we formed a committee (of which I was a part of) to build a Vietnam Memorial in Idaho's capitol city and did, 50 years after that war ended. We dedicated our new memorial on May 30, 2016 with purely amazing support from the citizens of Idaho who were so supportative in making that build possible. It's located in Boise's "Veterans Memorial Park" where many other war memorials also exist.
