Last Known Activity
Navy CDR. Joel Del Mundo Tiu, 49, of Manila, Republic of the Philippines. CDR. Tiu enlisted in 1984 and rose to the rank of chief before he was commissioned as an officer in 1995. He died October 13, 2012, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to Logistics Forces, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, Manama, Bahrain. Died as a result of non-combat related injuries.
