AT1 Marck Tooker was an aerial observer aboard an AD-3Q "Skyraider" (Bu. No. 122863) flying off the USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31) as part of VC-33 Composite Squadron, Detachment 41, CAG-7. (He served as an Aviation Radio Technician First Class)
He and his pilot, Lt. Edward P. Cummings , were killed during a combat mission over Pyonyang, North Korea when they were hit by AAA, tearing off part of the tail section of the aircraft.
Note: Earlier, flew as a crewman aboard the Grumann Avenger TBE-3E
