Last Known Activity
      Alfred McDonald returned to Buffalo, new York after WW2 and worked for the Souhh Buffalo Railway as a Brakeman.  Recalled to active duty as a Navy Reservist Al srved in Korean Theater combat onboard the DE USS SILVERSTEIN as a Mount Captain on the ships 5 inch Gun.
       After his discharge, Al was a Buffalo Police Officer and served on President Kennedys scurity detail for his visit to Buffalo in 1962.  Al later was promoted to Detective retiring form the force in the mid 1980's.
