Special Warfare Operator Second Class David John Warsen, USN 

Warsen enlisted in the Navy on March 10, 2009 and graduated from boot camp at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL in May 2009. In March 2010, Warsen completed Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL School (Class 279) in Coronado, CA and then went on to advanced training. He has served with a West Coast - based SEAL unit since October 2010. 

His awards and decorations include the Navy Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.  

David is survived by his father David Warsen, his mother Patricia Frank, his brothers Aaron, Kyle and Ryan, and his fiancée Karlyn Deveau.
