Notes: Aviation Ordnanceman Third Class Booth was a member of Flight Aircraft Service Squadron 11, U.S. Navy. On October 16, 1952, he was a passenger on a C-46D Commando transport on a courier run between Kangnung, Korea (K-18) to Pohang, Korea (K-3) when it crashed into the sea killing all 25 servicemen on board. His remains were not recovered. Aviation Ordnanceman Third Class Booth was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
