Notes: Lieutenant Beasley was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was the plane commander of a P2V-4 Neptune patrol bomber with Patrol Squadron 2, U.S. Navy. While on a night reconnaissance mission of North Korea and China coasta on January 4, 1954, contact was lost and he was declared Missing in Action. Lieutenant Beasley was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation, the Republic of Korea War Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
