Mr. and Mrs. Zane Arbuckle of. Marshall, is the first casualty reported among Clark county boys in the war with Japan. Word was sent from Washington to the boy's mother in Chicago, that he was a victim of the attack on Pearl Harbor In the Hawaiian Islands by Japan, Sunday, December 7. Information concerning just how he met death is impossible to obtain. However, the report is that he was in the Navy and aboard the warship Utah when it was sunk by Japanese bombs. His death is greatly regretted and his relatives have .the heartfelt sympathy of all. Honor to them for giving all they have in defense of their country.
