Bob Rewolinksi graduated from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee and entered the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in 1965. After being drafted, he chose instead to enlist in the US Navy and became a hospital corpsman. After basic training in Illinois, he was stationed in Norfolk and Orlando and then served in Vietnam from 1969-1970. While there, he served at the naval hospital in Da Nang, and as a field corpsman in the DMZ. Upon honorable discharge in 1970, Bob re-entered nursing school at Milwaukee Technical College. After completing his RN, he went on to the Milwaukee County School of Anesthesia and became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He worked at St. Josephâ??s Hospital in Mankato, MN before settling in the Beaver Dam/Columbus WI area. Over the years, he was employed by both Columbus and Beaver Dam hospitals. In August of 1998, he was involved in a catastrophic vehicle accident which left him permanently disabled.Â

COLUMBUS Wisc./RED WING, Minn. | Robert John Rewolinski Sr. age 67, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014, at the Red Wing Health Center in Red Wing.
Robert was born on Dec. 2, 1946, in Milwaukee to Florian and Marion (Euler) Rewolinksi. He graduated from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee and entered the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in 1965. After being drafted, he chose instead to enlist in the United States Navy and became a hospital corpsman. After basic training in Illinois, he was stationed in Norfolk and Orlando and then served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970.
While there, he served at the naval hospital in Da Nang, and as a field corpsman in the DMZ. Upon honorable discharge in 1970, Bob re-entered nursing school at Milwaukee Technical College. After completing his RN, he went on to the Milwaukee County School of Anesthesia and became a certified registered nurse anesthetist. He worked at St. Joseph?s Hospital in Mankato, Minn., before settling in the Beaver Dam/Columbus area.

Before his accident, Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting with his dogs, riding his motorcycle, trapshooting and working his farm fields.
Survivors include three sons, Robert (Laila) Jr. of North St. Paul, Minn., Richard (Sunshine Babcock) of Beaver Dam, Joseph (Thia) of Ellsworth; one daughter, Rebecca Rewolinski of Nacogdoches, Tex.; seven grandchildren, Anja, Paul, Kristoffer, Vivianne, Lillie, Greta and Walter Rewolinski; five sisters, Rita (David Enk) Luedke of Lowell, Mary Bugnacki of Orlando, Carol (Robert) DuPas of Milwaukee, Jean Sweet of Nekoosa, Christine (Itrel Monroe) Rewolinski of Dallas, Tex.; four brothers, Roger of Pahrump Nev., Edward (Evelyn), David and John, all of Milwaukee; his former wife Marcia Rewolinski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Joseph.
Funeral services were held at 12:30 p.m., with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at the funeral home. Rev. Steve Kortendick officiated. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery with full military honors by VFW Post 8090.
