In remembrance of my late husband, Jessie Raymond Bateman—lost so many years ago in this awful conflict. His best friend accidentally shot him, but he will still be remembered as a brave man who stood up for his country. He loved life and loved our country and freedom.
Friend I served with Jessie, as I knew him, aboard PBR., Mobile Base, II and I will never, forget the day, I learned, of his passing, or will I ever, forget him. He was one, of the good guys. I have pictures of him, but don't need, to look at them to remember that big smile, of his. God Bless Jessie, his family and all those, who remember him. Jun 6, 2008
