Despite the two year lead time CNP and CNRC miscalculated my total service. House packed and shipped, car loaded and halfway to Florida the Navy called and cancelled my retirement. I was again transferred to the Fleet Reserve on June 30th, 2009. No ceremony, nobody knew I was there, nobody knew I went home from my TDY at a recruiting station since February 11th. I sailed quietly out and slipped into the sunset. Though I still wait for them to cancel it again!
