Buck Andreasen, who spent 27 years as golf coach and led the Vikings to seven Metropolitan Conference championships and consecutive state titles in 1971-72-73. He organized the first California community college state golf championships and was inducted into the California Community College Golf Coaches Hall of Fame. Andreasen also served seven years as head football coach, leading the 1950 LBCC team to its first national gridiron championship.
