 Additional Information
Last Known Activity:

The USS Cisco (SS-290) began her first war patrol on 20 September 1943, and was never heard from after that. Japanese records indicate that a submarine was attacked and sunk on 28 September in the area where the USS Cisco was the only known American Submarine. She was presumed lost in action on that date. Motor Machinist's Mate, First Class Fisher was listed as Missing in Action and later declared dead on 8 January 1946.
