~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have spoken with two of Pete's Aunt's and his sister and obtained most of this information.
Henry's Grandfather gave him the Nickname "Pistol" when Henry was in high school.
"Pistol" retired as LCDR from the Navy and became a Forester because of his love for the great outdoors.
Other Comments:
Henry was cremated and ashes remain with family member.
Henry Boswell III had requested appointment to West Point, 1960.
Henry "Pistol" is mentioned numerous times beginning on page 62, in the book titled "U.S. Navy Seawolves - The Elite HAL-3 Helicopter Squadron in Vietnam" written by Seawolf Daniel E. Kelly.
