I was SWCA Payne's RDC in Boot camp. I had no idea of his passing. I just happended to be looking through this site and couldnt belive my eyes when I saw deceased next to his name.
Although it was a while back, I do rember him well. I gave him a lot of sh*t as I do all of my future Seabees. He was a tough kid, even when I gave him a hard time he never backed down. I spoke with him a lot near the end of traning and let him know what he had to look foward to in thefuture as a Seabee. I am sure he did well in the battalion during his time there. I just wish it could have been longer.
My thoughts and prayers go out to him, his family and friends.
