Description
Mar 19 – Apr 19; 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 1st Battalion, 4th Marines, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marines and 2nd Battalion, 26th Marines search and destroy operations against the NVA 324B and 341st Divisions in the DMZ.

As a result of the sharp actions in PRAIRIE II, the Marines committed as many as five infantry and four artillery battalions to PRAIRIE III.
