Last Known Activity:


US Navy Peacetime Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served in the United States Navy as a Chief Watertender. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery on September 8, 1910. His citation reads:

"On board the USS North Dakota, for extraordinary heroism in the line of his profession during the fire on board that vessel, 8 September 1910."

His Medal was awarded on October 4, 1910.
