What are you doing now:

Walter is in a Board & Care facility and unable to function. He suffered a Brain Aneurism in 1988, after opening a restaurant in Colorado and also has dementia now and doesn’t recognize anyone.

He got out of the Navy after his 4 years, family owns Ficklin Vineyards Winery in Madera, CA, he went back to college, got a Master’s Degree, became a chef and started his own restaurant in Colorado.

His brother Steve was also in Vietnam at the same time, in Army Infantry Division and was wounded.
