Best Friends
Greg Whitney, who went on to Pharmacy School right after 'A' School.

Best Moment
Riding around on Greg's motorcycle was pretty cool. I saw Star Wars 10 times at this Mission Valley theater which is no longer there. I also saw Queen at the Sports Arena for their "News of the World Tour".
   

Worst Moment
Standing the midwatch and having to run back to the barracks in a monsoon. My uniform was still damp at reveille, but I had no other clean uniforms, so I had to wear it.

Chain of Command
LT Ferguson was our class nurse. Nice guy with a belly the size of a sumo wrestler!
   

Other Memories
I remember this anal nurse almost failing me on one of my practicals because I couldn't hear a murmur! I'd been in the Navy all week, and I couldn't hear an effing murmur! We also had two guys who used to be in the Army.
