It was an honor and a privilege to serve for 21 years as the son of a son of a sailor.  Grandad was a Rear Admiral, and Dad was a Captain, USN. Now I live in Norfolk VA and windsurf like crazy in VA and NC !

Best Moment
Flying onstation tracking (then) Soviet nuclear missile submarines over the Sea of Japan and seeing their periscopes on the surface, knowing they were trying to get a look at the P-3 that was tracking them with me in the Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) seat ! This was what all that training I did before led up to !

   

Worst Moment
Ready alert launches I didn't expect !

Other Memories
Two deployments to Misawa, Japan. Good times going out to eat at Kikuzhusi sushi restaurant on "Green Pole Street" in Misawa. Trips to the Cherry Blossom festivals, visits to Shuri Castle, a Samuri castle. Hot baths at Grand Kamaki hot baths.
