Retired from Philadelphia Naval Shipyard in 1994 after 30 years. Rose from Carpenter's Apprentice to Production Coordinator (GS-13). Biggest project was as Production Coordinator of USS Saipan Refit in 1988. Last major project was sale of US Navy Destroyers to Hellenic Navy (Greece). Much ouzo flowed in the backyard by the pool during those years!
