What are you doing now:

It is Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, 2010, as I write this. Thank you, fellow shipmates, for your service! And all who serve now or in the past. I want to especially remember Walter "Larry" Maurer, US Army, who gave his life serving his country in Vietnam; he was a childhood playmate and classmate from 1st grade all the way to high school graduation and his name is forever engraved on the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC, which I had the privilege of personally seeing.

Best Friends Mike Vickoren. Bob Bauer. Eric Robinson. Joe Must. Ken Golden.	Best Moment Two trips to Yokosuka Japan. Visits to Subic Bay, P.I., Sattahip, Thailand. Numerous visits to the Caroline, Marshall, & Marianas Islands.

Worst Moment The "night of the long knives", in Palau, I guess you had to be there.	Other Memories The day the captain shot a 6' plus great white shark.
