What are you doing now:
Working on the oldest, continuous production line in the world. The C-130J Super Hercules, in the Final Assembly Department. The C-130 has been in production since 1954 with over 2300 aircraft built, with a backlog of 95 aircraft with firm orders. The largest backlog in the C-130's production history.
Other Memories In 2008, Following in the footsteps of CPRW-11(CMO-11) at NAS Jacksonville, CPRW-2 took all Maintainers from VP-4, VP-9 and VP-47 in Kaneohe and formed Consolidated Maintenance Organization TWO(CMO-2). Basiclly an Air Force style of maintenance. All aircraft in the wing are now owned by CMO-2 instead of the squadrons. CMO-2 maintains and supplies aircraft to the squadrons. CMO-2 also sends Maintenance Deployment Teams(MDTs) with a deploying squadron.
