My son, Gregory John Cook, is currently retired from the US Army as a Master Seargent, and is living and working in Alaska. My wife of 18 wonderful years, Geraldine Diane Whitlach-Cook, passed away on July 8th, 2013 as a result of breast cancer metastesizing to her brain and skeletal system.

Worst Moment Riding an RVN PBR as the Advisor during a night time waterborne ambush and having a VN sailor constantly breaking squelch on the PRC-25 radio just make sure it was still working! I still think it was his way of letting Charlie know we were there and not to come around.
Chain of Command 1. Operations Advisor to the RVNN PBR river squadrons operating out of LSB Cat Lo, RVN.
2. POIC of the US Navy compound's armory.
3. Manned the US Navy's secondary command post and maintained radio communications during general quarters.
