Other Memories 4th Cruise, 2nd Med cruise did the ditch again. this time was Oper Enduring Freedom and Oper Iraq Freedom. So after someone not properly manning the watch we had an Iraq cruiser get too close to the Carrier. Late night g General Quarters, that was the deciding factor. Then we went to shipyards in Newport News and worked in transportation until my contract was up.
