Best Moment Getting on the ship to come home.
Worst Moment Seeing a Marine die on my watch.
Other Memories Helping to restore Marine patients back to health. Writing letters home to those unable to write for various reasons. Cinderella liberty in Noumea. Single Navy Nurses (Ensigns) I worked with were:Betty Jane Hansen of Nebraska, Barbara Skelton, Warkow of Chicago, Maus of Indianapolis, Wombel Shomaker & Supan. All became more beautiful as the months passed on.
