Survived Japanese attack on USS SCULPIN (SS 191) on 19 Nov 43 and her subsequent scuttling north of Truk. Rescued by Japanese and taken to Truk, then transferred to HIJMS CHUYO for transit to Japan. Died on 2 Dec 43 when CHUYO was torpedoed and sunk by USS SAILFISH (SS 192).
