Other Memories A fun time working with Civilian Scientists, US Airlift Command, and the US Coast Guard Ice Breaker Polar Sea of the Pine Island Bay Deep Freeze. My job was to assist scientists and researchers as they drilled depths of ice. I was the notetaker; writing the measurements and depths. I spent 16 days in Antarctica. An experience I will never forget.
