Memories For This Unit

Best Moment
Met my future wife in June, 1961. She was a seaman apprentice who had just gotten out of Radioman school at Bainbridge, MD, and she looked great in uniform. I was a YN2 attending Yeoman (C) school. We married in October, 1961. And still are.

Worst Moment
My, then, fiancé got orders to Norfolk, but I received orders to Pax River, MD. We would not be stationed together until we got married and she could get orders to be with me. (Hence, the short engagement.)
