  • Laid down in 1938 as SS Quaker by Pusey and Jones Corp, Wilmington, Delaware
  • Acquired by the Navy 5 May 1941
  • Designated as a Coastal Minelayer, CMc-5 and renamed Miantonomah, 14 May 1941
  • Commissioned USS Miantonomah (CMc-5), 13 November 1941
  • Reclassified as a MinelayerCM-10, 15 May 1942
  • Struck a mine and sank 25 September 1944 at LaHavre, France
  • Struck from the Navy list 13 November 1944.
