MARTINEZ
Mr. Jose M. (Joe) Martinez age 87 of San Antonio died Monday, December 17, 2012. Mr. Martinez was born in Cementville, Texas on October 23, 1925, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946 on board the U.S.S. Orion AS-18.
He was preceded in death by his wife Oralia F. Martinez. He is survived by his son, Joe F. Martinez and wife Margaret; daughter, Sandy Martinez; sister, Emma Rodriguez; brothers: Abel Martinez and Fernando Martinez; grandson Fernando J. Zapata.
The family would also like to extend its gratitude to Dr. William Kirk and the employees of Sunview Care and Rehab for taking such good care of Mr. Martinez.
Visitation will begin Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 12:45 p.m. in The Angelus Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
