Last Known Activity:

John "Jack" E. Rehbock
Aug. 3, 1924 - Nov. 12, 2012
John ("Jack") Edward Rehbock, 88, a native San Franciscan and previous 40-year Belmont resident, passed away in Modesto on Monday, Nov. 12. Jack was a U.S. Navy
Submariner in WW2 but the majority of his career was in the U.S. Army, being sent to Germany, Texas, Vietnam, Korea, and, finally, the Presidio, city of his birth.
Jack is grateful for the many friends he has met along the way: San Mateo Fuchsia Society, SIRS Bowling League, Plateau-Skymont Neighborhood Assoc., USO and LDS Temple volunteering. He was very fond of the friendly people at the Casa de Modesto where he spent his last five months.
Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Elna, and brothers: Carl & Albert and sisters: Helen Rollins & Elizabeth Ausman. His surviving brother Alan of Los Gatos, Jack's son, John Alan Rehbock and daughter, Margaret Rehbock Holtz, (both of Modesto) and their extended families will dearly miss our Pop.
Family graveside services Nov. 16 at Skylawn, San Mateo. Any remembrances may be sent to the USO-SFO San Francisco, CA 94128
