 Additional Information
Last Known Activity:

Chief Sterling is the author of the book "Wake Of The Wahoo".  This was the first Navy book I ever read and I think it's still one of the best.  I can't count how may times I've read it over the years.  It's a great enlisted man's view of life aboard one of WWII's most daring submarines, USS Wahoo (SS-238).  I would highly recommend this book to anyone, submariner or not.
